  • Laurence Wahl , DVM

    Dr. Wahl is a native of Southern California.  He received his Bachelors of Arts in Zoology from the University of California, Santa Barbara in 1977.  Dr. Wahl was awarded the Summa Cum Laude with highest honors award.   His Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine is from the University of California, Davis in 1982. Dr. Wahl graduated in the top 3% of his veterinary class.  His post doctoral training in small animal medicine and surgery was completed at the University of Pennsylvania in 1983.  Dr. Wahl worked in several private practices and emergency animal clinics prior to opening Laguna Grove Veterinary Hospital in 1987.  He is owned by a Golden Retriever, Bamboo, a blue and gold Macaw, Cosmo,  and  an aviary full of Australian cockatoos. Dr. Wahl is also part owner of a veterinary hospital in the Turks and Caicos Islands in the Caribbean.   His hobbies include scuba diving, golf, managing his reef aquarium, and raising tilandsias, bromeliads and orchids.

  • Dave Curtin, DVM

    Dave Curtin, DVM is a native of Southern California and a graduate of the School of Veterinary Medicine, UC Davis. Dave earned a Hart academic scholarship every year while attending vet school as well as membership in the Phi Zeta Honor Society. He graduated from UC Davis in 1976 in the top ten percent of his class.  Dr. Curtin has enjoyed life in coastal Orange County ever since, practicing most of those thirty-plus years at his own veterinary clinic in Newport Beach. He is a longtime member of the Southern California Veterinary Medical Association, and his many years on the Committee for Grievances and Ethics were honored with a Meritorious Service Award.  Dave values the long-term relationships that small animal general practice fosters. “As family veterinarians, we see the young and the old, in sickness and in health, and we witness the great love people and pets have for each other and how that bond endures even after death parts them. I appreciate the time and the opportunity we are given to earn our place as trusted family friends and advisors.”

  • Michelle Wahl, Payroll & Bookeeper

    Michelle has been doing the payroll and book keeping for Laguna Grove Veterinary Hospital for 3 years, and has been married to Dr. Wahl since 1988.  She and Dr. Wahl have 3 amazing children.  When she is not taking care of kids or Laguna Grove, she enjoys traveling, jewelry making, and antiquing.

  • Alexa Muntin, Manager/Technician

    Alexa moved to Southern California from Michigan in February 2012. She received a bachelor’s degree in Animal Science with a specialization in pre-veterinary medicine from Michigan State University, and plans to further her education and experience by attending an RVT program to obtain her RVT license.  She has worked at multiple veterinary clinics and has a strong passion for working with and caring for animals. She has two furry companions of her own, including a Chiweenie named Kaycie and a Bengal named Kali. In her spare time, she enjoys going to the beach, hiking, and any other outdoor activities that involve being in the California sun.

  • Janni Kimble, Manager/Technician

    Janni is a native of Laguna Niguel and graduated from Dana Hills High School. She has worked in the veterinary industry since 2001 and has been on the LGVH team off and on since 2003. Janni has worked with animals as a veterinary technician, receptionist, and hospital manager in three different states (Utah, California, and New York!). She holds a BS in Zoology from Brigham Young University and owns a photography business with her husband, Marvin. Janni enjoys spending time with her family, including her husband and three kids, Luke, Shane, and Aiva, and her cats, Rocket and Jet.

    Annette grew up in Southern Orange County and graduated from Dana Hills High School. She has been working in the veterinary field since 2011. She is passionate about providing compassionate support for clients and their pets. Annette enjoys taking her best friend, Hunter, to beach trails and exploring. She loves outdoor activities, cooking, science and can knit up a storm. She has a special place in her heart for German Shepherds.

    Paige has lived in Orange County since she was 5 years old. Her love of animals drew her to work at Laguna Grove Veterinary Hospital and to pursue her veterinary technician degree. She enjoys writing, sing, and graphic design.

  • Coral, Greeter

    Coral started working at Laguna Grove Veterinary Hospital in 2006 when she was only 4 months old. She gets along well with every client that comes in and is very comfortable around most dogs. Coral enjoys climbing, running, and hiding. She especially loves cardboard boxes. Coral takes cat naps throughout the day in order to keep her friendly and spirited demeanor. Her job duties include greeting all new clients and their pets and wearing festive costumes during the holidays.

  • Cosmo, Security

    Cosmo Started working at Laguna Grove Veterinary hospital when it first opened in 1987. He comes to work every day with Dr Wahl. Cosmo enjoys people watching, making ambient sounds, foraging for his favorite seeds and nuts, and keeping himself groomed Cosmo is our best candidate for security because is always up front keeping and eye out.
